Summer is best for the waterside microclimate that stays 3-6°C cooler than the roads. In winter, the Seoul Lantern Festival (November-December) turns the stream into a glowing night run. During monsoon season (July-August), heavy rain can cause water levels to rise and flood the promenade — always check conditions before heading out.
